Maple Oatmeal With Quinoa + 4 More Things We’re Loving This Month

things we're loving products

Once a month, we round-up some of our favorite vegetarian foods and kitchen tools and share them with you here on the Marketplace. Here are this month’s picks! (Note that we received samples for review on products marked with an asterisk.)

1. Maypo Instant Maple Oatmeal with Quinoa*

This oatmeal is scrumptious. Quinoa makes a perfect breakfast because of the protein, but I’ve shied away from it because it can sometimes take too long to cook. This instant maple oatmeal with quinoa makes having a sweet version of quinoa easy. I added a bit of maple syrup on top for a little extra sweetness. — Kate

2. Barbara’s Baked Cheese Puffs Original*

These gluten-free cheese puffs taste far from original. Their blue cheese flavor makes them a more sophisticated snack that’s also quite filling. These cheese puffs make great party snacks, and I’ll definitely be serving them at my Super Bowl party! — Kate

3. Coffee Flour*

This eco-friendly, gluten-free flour is great for adding rich flavor to baked goods. The flour itself is made from dried coffee cherries, and though it doesn’t taste exactly like coffee, it does have a nice robustness that goes great with spiced desserts and chocolate. The Coffee Flour website has a bunch of recipe to try, but I’ve been having great success replacing a portion of the regular flour in some of my favorite recipes for sweets with Coffee Flour. — Alissa

4. Healthee Turmeric Organic Brown Rice*

When you need a quick meal, Healthee’s organic brown rice meals come in handy. The coconut-milk-cooked-rice is light and fresh, and the organic turmeric adds a curry flavor. I topped mine with roasted chickpeas and sauteed veggies for a quick, complete meal. — Kate
