The mystery is solved…

Honey Murcott Tangerines
The mystery citrus fruit from my last post is the Honey Murcott Tangerine. Just so you don’t think I’m nuts, when I was shopping last week, all of these tangerines were super small so I really had no clue that they were tangerines. This week, there were only a few of the small ones left and the rest were tangerine-sized. After doing a little Googling, I found other images that show these in various sizes so I guess that’s just how they grow.

I love Meyer lemons! Now is the time of year that all the weird citrus fruits are in season, so I like to take advantage of it. :) Because I don’t like regular oranges & regular tangerines.

Lucky you…we have so few items to pick from at our local supermarket. I will look next time I get to the city and see if the stores there might have them for me to try.

I don’t care for oranges, either, but just tried some Cara Cara oranges, and they are delicious! I bought some Meyer lemons, too, and need to do something with them soon.
