    Ingredients

    • 1 can chickpeas rinsed and drained
    • 3 tbsp tahini
    • juice of 1 lemon
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 1 tsp ground cumin
    • 1 tsp of salt
    • olive oil
    US Customary - Metric

    Instructions

    • Put chickpeas in a blender. Mix slightly, adding some cooking water.
    • Add the tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt. Continue mixing, gradually adding the olive oil to attain a smooth, creamy texture.
    • Serve with vegetables or crackers.
