Hummus is ideal for an snack or aperitif. This Best Basic Hummus recipe is easy to prepare. It's so tasty that every time I make it, I can't get enough!
Servings: 4 servings
- 1 can chickpeas rinsed and drained
- 3 tbsp tahini
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp of salt
- olive oil
- Put chickpeas in a blender. Mix slightly, adding some cooking water.
- Add the tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt. Continue mixing, gradually adding the olive oil to attain a smooth, creamy texture.
- Serve with vegetables or crackers.
