Ingredients
- ½ head cauliflower
- 1 onion
- 1 cup cheese grated
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Wash the cauliflower and grate it with a coarse grater. Peel the onion and grate it. Whip the egg, then add flour, cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Add the egg mixture to the cauliflower, and mix well. Let stand 15 to 20 minutes.
- Pour the olive oil in a pan, take a ¼ cup of cauliflower mixture, and form a cake. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side over low heat. Repeat until all the dough is gone.
- When the patties are cooked, serve hot or warm with sour cream. These patties make a perfect side or a perfect vegetarian main dish topped with a salad.
