Instructions

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped dates

Notes

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together egg, honey, apple sauce, milk, oil, and vanilla. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  2. Add dates and mix a little. Divide the dough into oiled or papered muffin cups.
  3. Bake in the center of the oven preheated to 375°F for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove muffins from the oven and let them cool.
