This rich, decadent Brownie Mug Cake is ready in just 5 minutes from start to finish. Save this delicious, fudgy, single-serve brownie to enjoy at the end of the day.
Place dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder) in a large microwave-safe mug. Whisk to combine.
Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract, and stir to combine well.
Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
Place mug in the microwave and cook for 60 seconds on high power.
Check your mug brownie. If it's still wet, cook in the microwave for another 30 seconds. If it's just a bit raw in the center after the first 60 seconds, that’s perfect! If you keep cooking your brownie after this point, it could end up being overcooked and dry.

You can make a dairy-free version of this mug cake by swapping the milk for almond or soy milk.
