Wordless Wednesday: In the community garden…

Anyway, here’s another picture that makes me ache for warmer weather–this is my plot in our local community garden. After many partially successful attempts at balcony gardening, last summer was the first time I actually grew something that wasn’t in a pot. I was a little bit too enthusiastic about my little plot and packed a few too many plants in. Although we didn’t get the watermelon or zucchini that I wanted, we did get plenty of salad greens, kale, cucumbers, jalapenos, tomatoes, and assorted herbs.

Hopefully this summer we’ll have a house with a big garden in the backyard. And if that happens, you know I’ll be blogging about it!

Your garden is full of greens. How nice. I'm hoping to start one this summer but have to find a way to keep my dumb dogs away and not eat all of my stuff.

I miss the green too! My yard looks so sad this time of year. Any snow is now unwanted at this point and it's almost like it's crying out, "Let's get to it already!"

I'm hoping to plant a garden this year. We are just living in a rental house right now (army life!), so I'm not sure if it'll be a box garden or an actual in the ground garden, but I CAN'T. WAIT. EITHER

Wow! I would love to have a garden, but living in the desert makes growing things too difficult for me. Newest follower from blog hop.

Hi, I'm a new follower from the blog hop. I always do the same thing almost every year. It never seems like those small plants are going to get so big!
