Adagio Teas: Earl Grey Bravo and English Breakfast Teas

My mom has been living with us for almost a year now and one of the quirks about having a senior citizen take over your living space is that you find all of these extra items added to your shopping list in a flowery cursive. And the item she adds to the list most often is Earl Grey tea.

And she’s very particular about her Earl Grey tea. She likes Trader Joe’s brand, and she’ll tolerate Twinings, but anything else gets a passive aggressive sigh, and a “You didn’t get any at Trader Joe’s?”

Well, now, Trader Joe’s can GTFO, because I had her test out Adagio Teas Earl Grey Bravo. She drank it for a couple of weeks and I asked her over the weekend, “Hey mom, how did you like that Earl Grey?”

It turns out she loved it. “Oh my god,” she said. “It is fabulous! Do you have any more of that? Where can I buy it? Is it super expensive?”

Well, you can get it delivered via Amazon. They also offer subscriptions for a tea-of-the-month on their website.

Take it from an old lady who drinks exclusively Earl Grey Tea, Adagio is great and it’s not even that expensive. We also got some English Breakfast, and it was also very good, especially with milk and sugar and those vanilla sugar wafer cookies.
