Cauliflowers Patties

These cauliflowers patties are as pretty as they are good, and easy to make! Your children will feast and love to eat their vegetables! You can make patties of different sizes to serve them as an appetizer or as an main course.

  • ½ head cauliflower
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup cheese, grated
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  1. Wash the cauliflower and grate it with a coarse grater. Peel the onion and grate it. Whip the egg, then add flour, cheese, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the egg mixture to the cauliflower, and mix well. Let stand 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Pour the olive oil in a pan, take a ¼ cup of cauliflower mixture, and form a cake. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side over low heat. Repeat until all the dough is gone.
  4. When the patties are cooked, serve hot or warm with sour cream. These patties make a perfect side or a perfect vegetarian main dish topped with a salad.
