These little guys are always hanging around my plants. After some internet research, I discovered that these are Green Tree Frogs and they’re abundant in this part of North Carolina. And they’re crazy adorable, right?

We get them a ton, too, and I love them! It is cute when they hide on a bid, green leaf and blend in. Love your photo especially the detail on the clinging fingers (my husband and I just had a 2 minute discussion as to what a frog hand is called. Clearly we’re not Bio majors).
Those little fingers are amazing! They are always clinging onto vertical surfaces and I wonder how they do it.
Perfect frog – poses well and looks great with the flowers! Nice colors.
WHAT?! that is sooo super cute!! <3
How cute!!!!
Totally Crazy Adorable! What cool eyes.
So well perched on a colorful seat. Adorable.
Great colors … and glad they are not in my yard since my kids would have them in a tank by now
Cool shot!
I played too. Mine are here and here.
Beautiful capture.
oh my word, what a lovely shot!! Reminds me of spring!
What an awesome shot! I found a frog on my rhododendron one day, but I couldn’t capture it like that.
Amazing photo! I don’t ever see any frogs or toads where I live now. I think my kids are missing out.
They are prolific in the Pacific Northwest also. I have never been able to get a good shot of one though. Yours is great.
Really cute! I’ve seen little lizards but none of those!
I heard there were lizards here–thank you for confirming this! I haven’t seen one yet though, just lots of these bright green frogs.
That is the cutest frog I have even seen!
these cute lil fellas are abundant here in florida too! i adore them! great WW!
Beautiful photo!
That’s such a great shot… I would freak if I saw that frog though =)
So adorable! I never would have thought they’d be in NC. Your mums are beautiful!
The mums started dying the day after I took this picture! They had been blooming for a long time though, so I guess it was time.
What a beautiful photograph. We have toads but they’re UGLY and black with yellow spots (and poisonous, so I can’t let the dog out after it rains).
Wow, that is awesome! No frogs hanging around here, just lumpy toads.
What a fantastic photo! He’s such a cute little guy. Hope you are having a great weekend!
Thank you! I love these frogs–the 12 year old in me wants to scoop them up and keep them in a little tank inside!
