Today I went to the Le Creuset outlet in Smithfield. I’ve been slowly building my Le Creuset collection and the outlet is definitely the way to go. They always have sales and deals and coupons and whatnot. And sometimes they throw in some free stuff with your purchase. Also, the store smells like cinnamon. Cinnamon!
This is a limited edition color, Valencia, which I immediately fell in love with. My favorite colors always seem to be the limited edition ones.
I’m obsessed with the way the store is organized by color.
All the smaller items, like the baking dishes and bowls, are on one wall (also organized by color).
We bought a skillet in Valencia, since everything in that color was 35% off, and then we used a 40% off coupon to get a big Dutch oven in Caribbean blue. So for less than what the skillet normally retails for, we got that and a Dutch oven. I might have to go back on Black Friday…

That was a great deal.
Lucky you! I am so happy you got such a good deal. I love this cookware.
I love it too! I’ve wanted it for years, but it’s so expensive–I didn’t start buying it until I discovered the outlet. Now that I know I can get it so cheap, I could never pay full price.
I love the blue, but you’re right, it’s VERY expensive… I have an outlet near me, but they painted the store SO brightly, and then with the bright lights, and the bright colors of the ware… I couldn’t even get to the first section.
Hi! New follower! I hope you’ll stop by and follow back! Thanks!
I have been wanting to buy some of these for the longest time…I’m waiting for my current cookware to “break” so that I have an excuse to buy some!
That’s what I’m doing–I’m replacing our old pots and pans one at a time. Just make sure you buy them at the outlet!
I have never used a Le Creuset product, believe it or not! I love the Valencia color.
I just started replacing my old pots with Le Creuset–they are great because they last for decades!
I love their products, they are gorgeous and such great quality.
I’m gonna have to check those outlets out. That’s only a little over an hour from me!
There’s one in Mebane too! I haven’t been to that one because I think Smithfield is about 10 minutes closer. We are so lucky to live near TWO Le Creuset outlets.
I love there products, I have my eye on a few pieces I am hoping to get for X Mas!
I don’t own any Le Creuset but I love the colors too! I think my favorite one I’ve seen recently is the grass green one – so pretty! We have two outlet malls within about 45 minutes of us – I should go check them out!
I have a pie dish and a little saucepan in that green. I love it! You definitely need to check out the outlet–they have crazy good deals.
So jealous!! I love cooking with Le Creuset. They are hearty and yet so easy to clean! Next time you go, I might have to fly down and go with you. We have no good outlets in Colorado!
North Carolina is the land of outlet malls, I think. When we were in Wisconsin, there was a Le Creuset outlet on the other side of the state, but we never got around to going there. Now that we live so close to one (well, we live close to two of them!), I want to go there all the time. This is what I get for putting myself on their mailing list for coupons and specials!
I love LeCreuset but I don’t have any. I have a ton of Fiestaware so I don’t know about starting a second collection. But I REALLY love it!
I love Fiestaware! I’ve been thinking about getting some & I was hoping I’d find some on sale this Friday.
I have one Le Creuset pot and a baking dish. I was more, more, more! There is a store in town that sells Le Creuset products and I love going there! They are an investment, but if you take care of them, they will last for a really long time. My favorite is the Cobalt and the Aqua Blue.
Exactly! I’ve found myself replacing my cookware every few years (since I cook so much), so investing in Le Creuset just makes sense–it’s not going to wear out like everything else. Plus, when you get it from the outlet, it’s really not much more expensive than other types of cookware.
We have one large blue Le Creuset baking oven like the one in your picture. My husband uses it weekly for everything from soup to pot roast. It is fantastic. The thing never ages.
That’s exactly why I’m starting to replace my other pots and pans with Le Creuset–I want something that’s going to last me longer than 2-3 years! It’s an investment up front, but I think in the long term, you end up saving.
